So today we face the Red Wings, and all I can say is BRING IT! 

We are ready. We can do this. We will dominate the series and continue on our journey to the cup, where we will face the Penguins. Trust me, I know. 

We have our trusty brick wall who will stop all pucks from entering the net.

The Boyle giveth and taketh away

So we all know we are not going to mention the game that "shall not be mentioned", but I feel that our dear old chap Boyle needs a little pat on the back. Kudos Boyle, Kudos indeed.


Just like that the Boyle can giveth...and even faster he taketh your dreams away. Thats right, not even 2 minutes into the game and Boyle shows the Av's that he is indeed their daddy.

Panties all over the world fell to the floor when he scored.

You didn't even take them off, they just vanished into thin air. 

The boys worked hard the rest of the game, tried to get some goals but some son of a beotch kept denying them.

 We see you Anderson and we don't like you. 

Give us a goal man! just let them go in!!!

But hey, our boys are gonna make it work and give us a win tonight. Even if they have to pull a flying V or umm swiming S? for the sharks? 

And we can't forget our clutch goal by Pavs, aka our Savior.

Thanks for saving us yet again Lord Pavs! We really, really, really, really appreciate it!

Now that the series is tied 2-2, Our boys need to bring their A game, get out there, defend our zone, get in the Av's faces and SCORE SOME GOALS!!!

LET THE CRUSHING BEGIN

The game yesterday, will forever be known as, "the game that shall not be mentioned." You all are hockey fans, so you know what went down in game three. L, B and I all agreed that we will not dwell on the game....or how it ended. We only have one thing to say about it. 

Now that's out of our system. We're gonna focus on our next game. Game four. There are going to be angry players. 

:( and hopefully no missing players!

All I know is, Sharks are ready for Game 4, and the Avs aren't going to know what's gonna hit them. 

And....I just think this is funny.

It's just 1 game, it's far from over

So after just seeing the Sharks lose their first playoff game in what was an eerie, frustrating de ja vu of last year's epic fail, it's hard to try and do this post about why I am a Sharks fan. Is it because I'm a masochist? No. Well at times I am, but that's another thing. I became a Sharks fan in late 2007/early 2008 when I began to watch the games. Before that, my hockey appreciation extended to owning the Mighty Ducks films and at one time catching a Stanley Cup final game. But after I started watching the Sharks, I became hooked. As the 2008 playoffs were about to get underway, I was pumped. I was breathless as the Sharks were able to rally right down to the final game in the round against Calgary with JR's heroics; and even though they were in a hole that didn't end in their favor, their persistence as they forced a must-win game against Dallas into 4 overtimes was heart-stopping. Fast-forward to 2009. Just...no words. No need to go in that. It's a new postseason now. And yes, we just lost again tonight, but I am not giving up hope. This team will regroup and will rebound, and next game, will come back to play a full game of hockey. I don't care if this comes back to jinx me. OK, I am definitely a masochist.
